Charles Accardi is an artist from Topanga Canyon, California. His recent group shows include T.W. Wood Art Gallery, Blooming Arts Festival, Harte Witzen Gallery, University Gallery at California State University--Dominguez Hills. For the past two years he's participated in the New York Visual AIDS "Postcards from the Edge" project. His art has won awards such as second place for figurative painting at the Blooming Arts Festival in Monroe, North Carolina (May 2001). He's a graduate of the MFA program in Visual Arts at Vermont College. Charles has studied with the following artists: James Doolin Michael Minelli Peter Zokosky / (alt. 1) / (alt. 2) F. Scott Hess Currently Charles is a freelance graphic designer and procedure writer for a number of clients. His future plans include a stint as an alumni assistant at Vermont College, teaching painting and drawing at the community college level and, of course, making and selling more artwork.
